Delicious food, very friendly service

We went to the "Athens Restaurant" in Hohnstädt for dinner today. Fortunately for us, yesterday we made a reservation for Saturday on Friday. When we were there at 6 p.m. today, it was pretty full. More and more guests came. Due to the rain, no guests could sit outside today. The female condition had to run, that she could serve all the guests, take orders, serve and collect. The boss himself also served, the woman would never have made it alone! The restaurant consists of three guest rooms, despite the Corona crisis, it was very full between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.! For us the best Greek in years. We come here more often even though we now live over 40km away.

Food tasted great. Friendliness and courtesy with the staff. If you don't love so much hype, it is a somewhat secluded and cozy restaurant. We felt good.

I am sorry to only give 2 stars because the conditions were really nice. But unfortunately the food was not that great :-( And it was expensive too.

Price / performance has always been right, there has never been a reason for complaints, not even in large groups with about 20 people. Everything was served in time and warm. Service is also very important here. The inn is getting old, but it doesn't bother us as long as everything is clean and the food tastes good. We would of course like to come back.
